This image features the remnants of an old dairy farm, on the outskirts of Hightstown. The farm used to contain herds of roaming cows, which I can clearly remember from my childhood.

The Carpenter Shoppe

This structure is one of many, located in the Historic Village, of Allaire State Park. We visited the park one Sunday for a family outing. If you reside in Central NJ, it is a short trip. So, I certainly recommend visiting the park, (whether or not photography is your primary interest).

This small historic site is located in Piscataway, NJ and consists of vintage buildings from the 18th and 19th centuries. It’s truly fascinating, walking around the grounds in the early mornings. Since there’s usually no one else around at that hour, the peace and quiet can nearly transport you back to an earlier time...

Until this year, many of my summer evenings were spent with the kids at the quad two swimming pool. While they swam, I either listened to my Ipod or took pictures of them. One evening, I became particularly aware of the different flowers adorning the patio area and turned my camera's attention towards them...
